Deeply saddened to hear the passing of Rush drumming legend Neil Peart. Sincere condolences to his family, friends and band mates Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. It was a privilege to have known you. Rest in Peace Neil.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of legendary RTE broadcaster Larry Gogan. He was famous for his Just a Minute Quiz which occurred during his radio show. When contestants get only a couple of questions correct, he was famous for the catchphrase "They didn't really suit you". The quiz had produced its fair share of bloopers which have gone down in Irish folklore.

Nightlife, Fighting and Jailbreak will be reissued on 180g Vinyl in sleeves featuring replica artwork through Mercury/USM on the 24th January 2020. Also reissued on November 29th 2019 were Thin Lizzy's first three albums, Thin Lizzy, Shades of a Blue Orphanage and Vagabonds of The Western World. All on 180g Vinyl.

Legendary Irish Guitarist Philip Donnelly (Philip Donnelly Music) has sadly passed away. Known to some as The Clontarf Cowboy, he had worked with Gary Moore Band, Donovan, Johnny Cash. John Prine, Emmylou Harris, Guy Clarke, Clannad, The Everly Brothers, Clint Black, Paul Brady, and Steve Young. He recorded some 2,500 songs with various artists. He also co-wrote Crystal Gale’s number one hit ‘Troubled Times’. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

October 3rd An Post launched a new set of Thin Lizzy stamps based on artwork by Jim Fitzpatrick Celebrating 5o years of Thin Lizzy and marking what would have been Phil Lynott's 70th year. The evening was played out with a performance from Brian Downey’s ALIVE AND DANGEROUS live at the GPO Dublin.
